Fruit Pie PDF Print E-mail
IngredientsMethod
4 cups fruit or berries
1-4 Tbsp. honey (if needed)
1-2 Tbsp. arrowroot or cornstarch
1/3 cup water, (if needed to blend)
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
2 Tbsp. lemon juice (omit for tart fruit)
1 pie crust
Place 1/2 cup fruit or more in prepared pie crust (baked), OR use a thick layer of granola in baking dish instead of pie pie crust. Set aside. Blend rest of fruit with honey, water, starch and salt. Boil until thickened. Add lemon juice. Cooi slightly and spoon over whole fruit (or granola). Sprinkle with nuts or ground granola.
